Thanks to most of the people who posted on the forum. People obviously have strong views on this subject and the majority posting here are in favour of the development, although many people in private question the location of these new buildings, if not the intent to create jobs in the area. All the comments, mostly reasonable, some venomous and/or racist, were directed at me personally. I set up this website for various reasons, one of them was to represent local opinion that is against the development, including locals who have lived in this village most of their lives . When I talk to people in the village or at work they usually say that they agree the development is inappropriate for the planned location. The reason people like this don't speak out is that they are afraid of the reaction and some of the forum posts have justified their fear. So? This? |
